Azureus is een op Java gebaseerde Bittorrent client. Hiermee kun je bestanden delen en downloaden die verspreid worden via Torrent websites. Azureus is één van de populairste Bittorrent clients. Dit komt mede omdat het een erg uitgebreid programma is. De makers van het programma hebben een nieuwe update uitgegeven. Deze update heeft het versienummer 2.5.0.2 meegekregen en heeft een waslijst aan bugfixes, veranderingen en nieuwe features. Azureus draait op Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris en Windows.
