Brilliant Database 8.4
Er is een nieuwe versie van Brilliant Database uitgekomen. Deze keer gaat het om versie 8.4. Brilliant Database is een simpele en easy-to-use database die een boomachtig structuur heeft. De meest onderscheidende feature is wat "freestyle forms"; wordt genoemd, wat betekent dat er geen voorbeeld templates en structuren zijn die je moet gebruiken. Deze unieke optie staat je toe om je eigen database te ontwerpen zoals jij het wil, wat het werken met een database aanzienlijk vergemakkelijkt.

- Reliability of program work by the network is significantly increased.
- Maximum number of queries to one database is increased to 1024.
- Calendar - a possibility to show any record fields in the "Month View" mode is added.
- Calendar - a possibility to hide the "Switch View" panel is added.
- The size of pop-up forms is now saved.
- The user name at connection to a remote database is saved.
- Support for formatting numbers of the "math #00.00" type is added, for adding leading zeros to a number.
- A special character ":>>:" for adding tabulation to the "Text Formula" is added.
- A possibility to load a database with disabled timers is added. To do this, you should start the program with the "-noscripts" parameter and open a database using an account with administrative privileges.
- An issue with script debugging is fixed: if the first line of a script was a comment line, it was impossible to debug it.
- When the "Input value from list" action is accomplished, the size of the input window is now adjusted to the text size.
- An issue in the "Form Editor" is fixed. An element of the Shape type is now displayed only on the tab where it is located.
- Calendar - an issue with setting the start date of event to "00:00:00" when the record was moved in the "Month View" mode is fixed.
- An issue with creation of a drop-down menu in the "Toolbar Editor" is fixed.
- An issue with different spaces between the "Sub Total" areas, when reports with empty "Record Area" and grouping were printed, is fixed.
- A "Subscription Out Of Range" error occurring in some databases at execution of the "Record->Set as Default" command is fixed.
- A problem of saving changes of the RichText Field on a pop-up form is fixed.
