De Chinese ontwikkelaars achter Maxthon hebben de van oudsher op Internet Explorer-gebaseerde webbrowser bijgewerkt naar versie 3.0.20.1000. Ditmaal zwaait Maxthon de Internet Explorer-engine echter uit en verwelkomt het de WebKit-engine. Dat is echter niet helemaal waar, gezien er nog steeds een dualmodus aanwezig is waarmee gewisseld kan worden naar de Internet Explorer-engine. Naast de toevoeging van WebKit brengt deze versie ook onlinefavorieten, een vernieuwde interface, een slimme adresbalk en automatisch invullen.Ook is het mogelijk om de browser in het Nederlands te gebruiken hiervoor moet je een language pack downloaden klik hier om deze downloaden
