Desura for Linux 120.8 bčta
Desura is een Steam-alternatief waarop vooral Indie-games geplaatst worden. De site heeft ook een client waarmee alle via de dienst gekochte games beheerd kunnen worden, zo kunnen ze automatisch gedownload, geďnstalleerd en geüpdatet worden. Zes maanden geleden kondigde Desura een Linux-client aan. Sinds 15 september is deze eindelijk uitgekomen, hetzij in gesloten bčtavorm. De client is voor iedereen te downloaden, maar wil je inloggen, dan moet je je eerst registreren op Desura en vervolgens aanmelden bij deze groep. Hoe stabieler de client wordt, hoe meer leden toegelaten zullen worden. Vandaag is er een nieuwe build vrijgegeven van de client. Hierin zijn een waslijst aan dingen veranderd en verbeterd.
