XFX NVTV TV Tuner

This TV tuner card is cheaper than most and works better than most I have tested or seen for around the same price range. If you are wanting a TV tuner and don't have Windows Media Center OS on your PC, then I would really suggest this card. The NVIDIA software works great, I did test on a NVIDIA based machine, but it would be hard for me to believe that it would'nt work on an ATI based system just as well. The only negatives I could find about the card is the little weird stuff happening at the top of the screen when in full screen but it is barely visible, that and the fact that you must click the icon on your desktop to start the app.


I think it would be nice to sit down and click a button on the remote to turn on the TV, and if there is a button to do this, it should have been included in the manual, I couldn't find it, but it would be nice to just click a button on the remote and go. These are just little things but my duty to report them. The Good definately over weighed any negative I could find with this tuner. In short, go buy this card now if you ever wanted to start watch or recording TV on your PC.
