Thomas Bangalter en Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, ook wel bekend als Daft Punk, maken hun debuut in DJ Hero met het nummer Da Funk.
DJ Hero komt uit voor de Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 en de Nintendo Wii. In DJ Hero zitten DJ’s zoals Grandmaster Flash en Dj Jazzy Jeff, maar nu is bekend geworden dat ook het duo Daft Punk zijn opwachting zal maken in de game. Er komen elf mixes van dit duo in het spel, die onder andere bestaan uit uit mash-ups met andere artiesten, maar er zijn ook twee megamixes. Van de elf tracks zijn er acht bekendgemaakt.
